Vehicle damage in St Leonards Road

PCSO Tracy Field is encouraging residents to remain vigilant and report any instances of vehicle crime, after several reports of wing mirrors being damaged in the area over the weekend.

At approximately 2330 hours on Saturday 20th October a resident heard wing mirrors being ‘twanged’ on vehicles outside of their house.
On Sunday 21st October, a report was received from a resident in St Leonard’s Road, stating that their car wing mirror had been kicked off and was completely missing.
It is believed that a group of around 3 males are causing damage to vehicles and that it has been happening a lot in recent weeks.

A male described as white, 5ft 8, wearing a hooded top is part of the group, but unfortunately no other descriptions have been provided.
If you see anyone suspicious in the area, then please make sure you report it!
